Service Dog Preparation
This six week immersive board & train program is designed to teach your dog certain behaviors that all service dogs must know before they start to begin to learn the individual tasks need by a given client. This includes basic and advanced obedience and public access training.
The trainer will meet for 1 hour once every week during the training to teach the owner the skills needed to properly handle the dog's new commands. There will be an additional 1 hour session a week after the dog returns home.
Included in this training package, the owner/canine team will be given an official American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test.

Additional Information
Before accepting your dog into the Pre-Service Dog Board & Train program, I will come to your home to assess your canine, discuss training methods, and answer any questions you may have. Any dog that is people and/or dog aggressive will not be accepted into the program, and any displays of aggression after being accepted is grounds to void the contract . There is a fee of $300 for the assessment, deductible from the final cost of the training package. Training will not begin until Sirius Canine Training, LLC has received proof of the core vaccinations from your vet.
