2-Week Puppy Board & Train Program
With this package your puppy (under a year) stays with me for 2 weeks, during which period your puppy will be taught the 7 Basic Commands that every dog should know:
1. Sit
2. Down
3. Stay
4. Come
5. Heel (Leash manners)
6. Look
7. No
In addition to teaching those basic skills, your puppy will be socialized around other young dogs, people, and be exposed to a myriad of novel social situations. Doing so will give your pup confidence to meet new situations with a stronger positive composure and self-assurance.
As with the CGC-Ready Board & Train program, I also include some people training ─ at no further cost to you! You will receive 3 individual training sessions, in which you will be shown what your canine has learned, how to properly handle your dog, and have any questions or concerns addressed. The first session will occur at about day 7, the second session will occur at about day 14, and the third will occur at your home about a week after your dog returns there.
Before accepting your dog into the Puppy Board & Train program, I will come to your home to assess your canine, discuss training methods, and answer any questions you may have. Any dog that is people and/or dog aggressive will not be accepted into the program, and any displays of aggression after being accepted is grounds to void the contract . There is a fee of $100 for the assessment. Training will not begin until Sirius Canine Training, LLC has received proof of the core vaccinations and negative fecal matter test from your vet.
